Website launch!

Today, this site goes live! What do you think of it?

I will post updates here as soon as something new happens with the game, and your feedback is more than welcome. Note that development is very sporadic.

  1. I wish I had my design notes from this early design on games I've done. Or, well, the few of the games that got off the ground and became playable that is...

  2. When you're ready to create the final product and sell it, you may want to check out The Game Crafter: https://www.thegamecrafter.com/

  4. Hey ez, some friends of mine are currently play-testing a game one of them designed and i'm curious what led you to the decision to make a website and start talking about your game publicly. Do you have any concerns that somebody will steal the idea and make the game themselves? Did you do any copyright work before creating the site? Or are you just not planning on revealing enough that anyone could actually steal the game?

  5. Pelle, it's nice to have all weird notes and scribbles. =)

Kevin, I have checked that site out earlier, I'm registered as ez.

EASHS, you'll be one of the first. ;)

micah, I thought it was worth doing a website to get motivation and feedback. I won't put too much of the game rules on here for anyone to copy. If someone takes some ideas with them, they still won't make the same game. And if they just take something straight off with no style, they probably don't have the imagination to make a good game anyway.

  6. True that. I love the idea for getting feedback about it. We're just getting to the point of doing some more broad playtests since the designer has been working on it for about a year now.

Thanks for being an example of community involvement in game design. Involving the community (web or local) in game creation and play testing is one of the most exciting aspects for me. I love seeing the ideas people come up with and how they can improve upon things I might have had some thoughts about.
